I almost forgot to share this video from the green room at Blue Note Hawai‘i before our performance. Jeff Dayton was talking to Tarvin and demonstrated an old Nashville trick - emulating a Drop D tune in E by using a capo on the second fret and having it press down on all the strings but the low E string.
